This blog is written by David Angell, I work in the digital world for an awesome company called Thin Martian. My background is in digital marketing and politics. 

I studied Politics at BA level at Portsmouth University, UK and then Conflict Resolution (and Security and War) for my MA for which I achieved a Distinction (Summa Cum Laude) from Lancaster University, UK.

My dissertation examined the Branding of War - and from this I developed a strong interest in the imagery and mobilisation of populations during war time. 

Following this I worked for Google, then for (now) Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, from his election as Leader of the Liberal Democrats through until just after the 2010 General Election as his Digital Communications Manager.
